Mathematics is actually a discipline where at its core, a student should get the good sense and distinct group of a formulas. If these types of setups are simply defined, then a scholar only has to exercise and get a command of the concept by preforming the easy examples. As the outcome of diligent work and constructing upon a solid ground, a bigger mark of A or B can be wanted for sure.
How experience helps me in my work
Whenever a child is really having a hard time, I find the good "handle" in order to operate to help the student to make sense of the topic. Because of my experience from a long career where I held a mentor function, though except education, I am able to show the advantage of numeracy, including of the essential need to set up a scholar's self-confidence. I firmly consider the secret to becoming skilled at or good in maths is in the teaching; this is definitely not the student's mistake if the teaching is miserable and/or doesn't set up the brain and enable them to "realise it", enjoy it and also get self-assured at it.
The teacher-student relationships
I believe that a child will not learn if they are not challenged and committed, and one powerful prime mover for students is the partnership between the child and the teacher. An understanding approach, and an environment where the relationship between student and tutor can advance and ensure fair dialogue, so the child is not frightened to address sectors of weakness and uncertainty, will be supplied. I strive to establish a trusting and supportive relationship with each and every child I teach, so that they too can enjoy the exciting visions within the natural world that mathematics and science bring me.
I can easily teach scholars at any grade of maths. I feel that my fantastic strength is actually to meet the individual learner at the grade they right now are, and encourage them further. I firmly believe that almost nothing is more crucial for success that the student's self-confidence. It is my aim - to help children believe in themselves through mathematics and go through. Couple of things please me more compared to when a student experiences it and their confidence enhances.
